Tommy Hilfiger in Portugal

Tommy Hilfiger veio a Portugal, no 25º aniversário da sua marca. Abriu uma loja no centro comercial Colombo, doou uma das suas peças ao Museu da Moda e do Design, MUDE, em Lisboa, e organizou uma competição na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa, FAUL. A vencedora desta competição, Catarina Azevedo, recebeu como recompensa um estágio de três meses no Departamento Criativo na sede da marca Tommy Hilfiger.

O designer disse estar “surpreendido e muito impressionado” com a qualidade dos trabalhos que participaram no concurso e que “se pudesse, contratava-os a todos” e classificou a FAUL como uma das melhores universidades de design de moda que já visitou em todo o mundo.

Recently Tommy Hilfiger came to Portugal to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of his brand. He opened a store at centro comercial Colombo, he donated one of his articles of clothing to MUDE and he organized a competition in Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa, FAUL. The winner of this competition has received a reward to internship in the brand.

The designer considered FAUL as one of the best universities he has already visited and said that if he could, he would hire all the students.
